The December Luncheon Business Meeting and Celebration was held at Wedgewood Event Center on November 12th and a fun time was had by all. The decorations were amazing, the food was good, and the company was exceptional! Our Programs Committee hosted an inspiring performance by the Colorado Springs Children's Choir. They sang many of our favorites and were a joy to behold.
SAVE THE DATE!
Our next luncheon will be WEDNESDAY, January 19th at Wedgewood Event Center in Black Forest. Note that this is the third Wednesday of the month. Register through the event email or through the Calendar page.

MOBILE APP NOW AVAILABLE
You can now download an App for your phone which lets you access the key elements of your TLWC membership. The App’s name is Wild Apricot for Members. It is available on both the App Store for iPhones and the Play Store for Android. After you open the app for the first time, you use your regular TLWC email and password to login.
The app makes it super easy to find other members’ phone numbers and email addresses (under Directory), see and edit your profile (under Profile), see what events are coming up (under Events), and what events you’re registered for (under Tickets). You can easily register for an event too by just clicking on the event you’re interested in.
Please express my sincere gratitude to all the ladies of the Tri-Lakes Women’s Club that supported the 2021 MHKC Salvation Army Bell Ringing Campaign. Your dedicated ringing at Walmart West on Wednesdays garnered $1,677.15 which helped us achieve a Grand Total of $32,109.39 for this year’s support. Captain Hanson, head of the local SA, assures me that the support received from the Tri-Lakes community continues to surpass all other groups supporting their Bell Ringing Campaign.
Thank you again and I look forward to continuing our joint endeavors.
Sincerely, Ron Mangiarelli

Fall 2021 Food Drive
Our Fall Food Drive took place at the October 15th Luncheon/Business Meeting. Hundreds of pounds of much needed food items and cash donations were collect for Tri-Lakes Cares. Thank you to our members for your generous donations!
Caring in Action has been providing bag lunches for working homeless neighbors in need at the Springs Rescue Mission. Each month we make 40 to 50 lunches that include a sandwich, chips, fruit, drink, and sweet treat. We then deliver them to the mission to be given to those that are heading out to work. For more information on how you can help, members can contact leaders Charlie Ann Hayes or Ann Cook on the CIA Home Page.

TLWC wins Best Appearance Ribbon and Announcers Award Ribbon!
Linda Vernon, head of the float committee writes: So Proud of us!!! We had a beautiful float and represented TLWC well. So many, many people and they cheered and cheered for us. Thank you to all who helped me in making the posters, decorating the float, cleaning out our garage so the float would fit, holding up the poles, walkers, Lori for driving and Fred Bijork and Rick and Lori Marriner for the dismantle. Especially my husband Randy who spent many, many hours helping me with this project. It does take a village to do things well. Thanks to all those devoted TLWC members.
TLWC Makes a Difference in the Community
Tri-Lakes Women’s Club Community Grants Program has provided over $1 million in grants to nonprofits, public service agencies and education. The program focuses on smaller organizations that typically do not have the staffing or resources to pursue grants from major granting foundations. These grants fund important and highly impactful services to the community. Click on the article below for a sampling of some of our most recent grants.
