2022 July 4th ParadeTLWC will celebrate Monument's July 4th Kiwanis Parade ON July 4th with a float in keeping with this year's theme of "Honor our Educators". At this time we have 15 ladies walking with the float and handing out candy, however there is always room for additional walkers so come join us! We have graduation hats for the walkers to wear and we ask you dress in red, white and blue. We could also use more candy (remember no chocolate that melts). If you wish to participate or donate candy, please email Linda at randall_vernon@comcast.net . Candy can be left on the porch bench at Linda Vernon's home from now until July 3rd. Our committee: Linda Vernon, Carol Gaskill and Charlie Ann Hayes, is excited to lead the float preparations that represents TLWC in our community. Thank you to Lori Forman for the use of her trailer and for driving in the parade. | We are looking for a garage close to Old Denver Highway where we could store the float overnight, July 3. Please email Linda if you have a garage or know someone willing to help us with this location. |

Caring in Action provides bag lunches for working homeless neighbors in need at the Springs Rescue Mission. Each month we make 40 to 50 lunches that include a sandwich, chips, fruit, drink, and sweet treat. We then deliver them to the mission to be given to those who are heading out to work. For more information on how you can help, members can contact leaders Charlie Ann Hayes or Ann Cook. Contact details are on the SOS/CIA Home Page.
Email Cindy at admin@tlwc.net if you need assistance with putting the app on your phone or navigating through it. | MOBILE APP NOW AVAILABLEYou can now download an App for your phone which lets you access the key elements of your TLWC membership. The App’s name is Wild Apricot for Members. It is available on both the App Store for iPhones and the Play Store for Android. After you open the app for the first time, you use your regular TLWC email and password to login. The app makes it super easy to find members’ phone numbers and email addresses (under Directory), see and edit your profile (under Profile), see what events are coming up (under Events), and what events you’re registered for (under Tickets). You can easily register for an event or cancel in each event listing. Additionally, the address for the event is clickable so it will go directly to your mapping app and lead you right where you want to go! |
